Volunteer

Be a part of the annual Art & Soul of the Catskills. We are looking for courteous and enthusiastic volunteers, ages 16 and over, who can work a minimum of two hours. This is a great opportunity to contribute to your community, make new friends and reminisce with old ones.
Volunteer Positions Available: • Information Booth - Assist visitors with general information about the festival. Check in volunteers and help staff with vendor information. • Booth Sitters - Watch an art vendor booth while the artist takes a break. • Hospitality Booth - Assist with making and serving complementary food for VIPs and artists. • Environmental Volunteer - Help keep the festival looking great by helping with trash removal (lifting and bending required). • Evaluator - Ask visitors survey questions and record their response. • Set-up and Take-down Volunteer- Help with general set-up and clean up after the event (heavy lifting and bending may be required). • General Volunteer - Will be glad to work in any position. Uncle Rock - calls Chichester, New York his home. He has won critical praise from the LA Times, the New York Times and Cookie Magazine. He has also been a mainstay on Sirius/XM Satellite radio. His rapidly growing fan base loves to dance to his cross-generational style of music. His music connects with preschoolers and the "Little Kid" inside all of us.

2:45 pm to 3:30 pm
Ira and Laurie McIntosh - from Andes, New York. They are a pairof Catskill Mountain entertainer's whose performances include all sorts of stories and many genres of music. They offer lively, participatory programs chock full of tradtional tunes, fantastic fables, magical myths, silly songs and more. No one can tell a story like Laurie, and they make local history come alive.

Skip West - If you have kids or have ever attended a morning program at school, you have probably tapped your foot to a Skip West tune or at least hummed along. Watch the children around you laugh and dance singing to a catchy chorus of Skip West. He has become legendary in the Catskill region and his following spans across generations.
